Senior Presales Engineer

Job Description:

GTS is seeking to hire a presales engineer / senior presales engineer. The candidate will interact internally with the sales team and externally with the customers and vendors. The candidate should understand customer needs, customize solutions for the customers and create technical proposals and bill of materials, and develop networking design. He should work closely with the customers and sales team, align with vendors to create the required solutions to achieve business needs.

 

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and propose appropriate networking solutions.

Analyze customer requirements to develop customized solutions based on customer needs.

Prepare technical proposals, develop technical presentations and solution architectures.

Respond to RFPs and technical requirements by customers.

Design networking solutions including LAN, WAN. (Voice and networking datacenter is a plus).

Build strong relationships with both customers and vendors.

Develop high level design matching customer needs.

Ability to work both as a team member and independently to close for opportunities.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

At least 2-3 years of experience as technical / presales.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science.

Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless technologies. (Network security is a plus).

Ability to design network diagrams and technical documentation.

Understanding SDx technologies is a plus.

Networking certification in Cisco, Fortinet,.. etc is a plus.

Working in multiple industries is a plus (Banking, commercial, Telco and Gov).
